Cost of Running a Campaign
Running a campaign isn’t cheap, even with grassroots efforts. To spread Kerrin’s message and connect with voters, we need your support to fund:
- Estimated Digital Spend: $20,000 – $100,000 for running ads over several months, a significant portion of the budget.
- Estimated TV Spend: $50,000 – $200,000 for a series of ads leading up to the election.
TV advertising ranges from $1,000 to $10,000 per 30-second spot.
- Estimated Radio Spend: $10,000 – $50,000, depending on the campaign strategy.
A 30-second ad on a major station could cost $300 to $1,500 per spot during peak hours.
- Estimated Billboard Spend: $30,000 – $75,000+ for high-traffic locations in Auckland.
Billboards (digital or traditional) can cost $2,000 to $10,000+ per month depending on location, visibility, and duration.
